When using Briefd, the following data is collected:

• Email address — for authentication and sending the daily digest
• CV (text extracted from PDF) — to personalise job offer recommendations
• Search preferences — job titles, location, contract type
• Navigation data — anonymous technical logs for service stability

Purposes of processing

• Provide the personalised job offer recommendation service
• Send the daily digest by email
• Improve the quality and relevance of recommendations
• Manage the customer relationship and support

Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the contract (Terms of Service accepted at registration) and, for marketing communications, on your explicit consent.

Sub-processors

Briefd uses the following sub-processors, all subject to data protection guarantees:

• Supabase — authentication and database (EU)
• Vercel — application hosting (EU/US)
• Anthropic — CV analysis and offer enrichment (US)
• Adzuna — job offer aggregator (UK)
• Stripe — payment processing (US, PCI-DSS certified)

No data is sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention period

Your data is retained for the duration of your active subscription, then deleted within 90 days of account cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right of access and portability
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to object
